Description
We are Providing the Highy Quality self-aligning bearing Two rows of balls with shared spherical raceways are found in the outer ring of a self-aligning ball bearing. This characteristic gives them the ability to self-align, enabling them to function effectively even with a tiny misalignment of the shaft with respect to the housing.
Self-aligning ball bearings are recommended for applications where aligning the shaft and housing is difficult or where the shaft may bend, such as with transmission shafts. The outer ring has a spherical raceway, and its centre of curvature coincides with the bearing’s, allowing the inner ring, balls, and cage to freely rotate around the bearing centre.
For this type, pressed steel cages are commonly used. Self-aligning ball bearings have a low axial load capacity due to their small contact angle. Under normal loads, the allowable dynamic misalignment is approximately 0.07 to 0.12 radian (4 to 7 degrees); however, such angles may not be allowable depending on the surrounding structure.
