Bearing Housing

Description

Bearing housings protect your bearings from contaminants while keeping lubricant in place and can also house monitoring equipment.

The Generator rotor has a radial bearing inside each bearing housing. The radial bearings are pressure-lubricated sliding bearings with staggered upper and lower parts made of white metal. Drilled passages deliver lubricating oil to the bearing.
Regulation of Bearing Housing Temperature

For turboexpanders to operate safely, the magnetic bearing housing environment’s temperature must be controlled. A number of strategies have been developed by MAKODA bearing to track and control the temperature of the bearing housing.
